Cupper Joe collects email addresses and certain other Personal Information to contact you about events, offers, new flavour releases and other information that might be of interest to you. You can review, amend or ask to have this information deleted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Your Personal Information will not be passed onto any third parties. We will do our upmost to keep your email address private and will only use your email address to send you information about Cupper Joe.
We do also trade as “Fudgin El” and “Fudgin El handmade fudge”, references to Cupper Joe are also applicable under the name Fudgin El variants.
What additional personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Akismet Anti-spam service and the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms and Reviews
When visitors leave reviews or submit a contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the contact or review form. We store this information and if you opt-in to emails then we will periodically contact you with updates.
In the case of reviews we may contact you by email to discuss the feedback that you leave or to verify that the review is genuine. You can opt out of receiving contact by contacting email@example.com or via reply to the email updates that you receive. We reserve the right to remove any reviews or testimonials that are entered on the site.
We copy the content of reviews (including name and other details) to publish in our social media or other websites.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or review, the comment/review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments or reviews, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
